Prayer is being in touch with God. It's all about relationship. God already knows and loves you. Prayer is your opportunity to be in contact with the deepest reality of all, your spirit within the great Holy Spirit of God.

This is the prayer that Jesus taught us. Try praying it slowly, line by line:

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come.

Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our tresspasses as we forgive those who tresspass against us.

Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory for ever and ever. Amen.
